Since February the members and friends of RVUUC have been in a process to determine the future of the congregation. In April we voted to join with Westside UU Congregation, and on June 13 we voted to dissolve RVUUC's charter. This community now participates in services on Sunday mornings at Westside.

LET'S GO HOME!
Let's gather at our new home for a special program and community breakfast. After breakfast and our program, we will view the building at our leisure. Children can explore and find their classrooms! Coffee, tea, pancakes, scrambled eggs, butter, and syrup will be provided. Bring potluck items of your choice such as fresh fruit, juice, baked favorites, breakfast meats or vegetarian substitutes.

LET THIS BE A HOUSE OF PEACE
Today we celebrate our first service in our new home. President Paula vanHaagen will welcome everyone to our new church home, and Rev. Peg will share hopes for the next chapter in the life of our congregation. This will be a service of great joy and a historical moment for us all. It is also the first Sunday of the children's religious exploration classes.
CARPOOLING TO WESTSIDE
We are still working out the fine points of our carpooling system. Most Sundays we will have two pick-up points for people who want a ride to Westside UU Congregation:
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES! In May 2008, Chris McEwen created a lovely slide show of many of the people and activities that shaped the congregation's first decade. You can watch the slide show at:
