Parking

Several spaces directly behind our building are for our use anytime. Enter the driveway to the west of the building (signage says “staff parking”) and drive down to the left until you are immediately behind the RUUC. Climb the outside stairway to the main entrance.

On Sundays and evenings, parking lots are available:

There is also street parking open about two blocks west on Yesler toward the freeway. For handicapped parking, park in front of the courtyard to the west of the building. This parking arrangement is temporary and is not designated by signs. It requires driving over the curb. Please call ahead (206-722-4880) if you need instructions or assistance.

Bicycle Parking

You can park your bike in a secure, covered spot at RUUC, inside the chain link fence on the lower level at the back of the building. First ask someone to go downstairs and open the gate in the fence for you. Then bicycle around to the back of the building, or carry your bike down the steps outside next to the front door, take it through the opened gate, and lock it to the fence from the inside. When leaving you can open the gate without a key. There’s room for a whole crowd of bikes.

Accessibility of Our Building

The sanctuary, offices, and restroom of our building are all accessible by wheelchair. The Sunday school rooms for children are on a lower floor with no elevator but are accessible if you park behind the building and enter from the outside.
